When a new foundation is first registered in Sweden, it has to announce its intention to gather funds for a specific purpose. As RISAI is just getting started, we thought we’d let you know what we are gathering funds for.

The (Foundation and) Research Institute for Sustainable AI (RISAI) is registered and able to administer funds for the purpose of supporting independent multi-disciplinary and applied research, as well as research dissemination, in the area of artificial intelligence, broadly defined.

Any funds collected will be used for this purpose and will be managed by the foundation’s board.
